This week, Loydence Academy took a significant step forward in this initiative by teaming up with the Cyber Security Curricula Education program sponsored by the National Cyber Security Agency in Qatar. Our focus was to engage students from Years 5 and 6 in a comprehensive workshop aimed at fostering smart and safe online practices.

The collaboration centers around the national effort to create a digitally secure and technologically empowered community, as outlined on the Cyber Security Curricula Education website. Our interactive workshop focused on key elements of digital safety and cybersecurity awareness—critical areas as technology permeates various aspects of life, including our children and adolescents.

The session for our Loydence Academy students concentrated on understanding digital citizenship, which encompasses the responsible, moral, and safe use of information and communication technology.
