Responsibilities of the Parents and Students

Parents

Parents play a crucial role in reinforcing the importance of safety and appropriate behaviour regarding school transportation. Here’s how parents can contribute:

1. Discuss the contents of our transportation policy with your children.

2. Provide guidance, especially during the initial weeks of school, on bus safety and expectations.

3. Ensure children are at the bus stop at least 5 minutes before the scheduled pick-up time.

Students

Students are expected to behave responsibly and follow instructions from the bus driver and chaperone for everyone’s safety. Key responsibilities include:

1. Following the driver’s and chaperone’s directions at all times.

2. Using seat belts properly and staying seated while the bus is moving.

3. Maintaining a quiet and courteous demeanour on the bus.
