Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

EYFS outcomes are divided into seven areas of learning, these are
- Communication and language
- Physical development
- Personal, social and emotional development
- Literacy
- Mathematics
- Understanding the world
- Expressive arts and design
Our EYFS teachers constantly observe the children and make assessments on their skills and knowledge in each of these areas. These observations are kept in a pupil profile which is used for the whole of the Foundation stage. More information about EYFS can be found at this website
